Location and Maps
The main venue for Armistice in Cambridge is Memorial Park on the northern greenbelt of Cambridge. Memorial Park is the main rugby fields in Cambridge East, and home to the Hautapu Rugby Union Club. The park is on the corner of Taylor Street and Victoria Road/Laurent Road. The latter two roads run parallel to each other.

The major activities of Armistice in Cambridge were moved to this venue in 2007 due to the event outgrowing its old home base of Victoria Square in the centre of town. This proved to be a great improvement in terms of available space and also allowed some extra activities to take place that were not allowed in the town centre.

So once again the major events will be centred at Memorial Park. The following map shows where the park is located, and how to get there from the centre of Cambridge.

Other important venues for Armistice in Cambridge are:

The Cambridge Town Hall - Due to local elections taking place in Cambridge at the same time Armistice in Cambridge is on, we will unfortunately not be having the Armistice in Cambridge Victory Dance this year. But we are trying to organize a substitute celebration so please keep watching this space for details as arrangements develop.

The Cambridge Cenotaph - venue for the Armistice in Cambridge Commemorative Service. This is also bordered by Victoria Street and Lake Street, on Jubilee Park, and next to the Town Clock and the RSA Six Pound Gun.

The Cambridge I-site Information Centre - for Victory Dance tickets and all your travel and accommodation needs.
